CHANGES, ANSWERS TO PRAYERS, KEEP PRAYING, NEW MISSION PRESIDENT THIS WEEK

June 27, 2017

New companion, Elder Griffin!

CHANGES
This week has been great and crazy.  So we had changes and so now my new companion is Elder Griffin. He is from Utah and has 8 months in the mission.  So it's a little weird to have someone with not a lot of time in the mission cuz there is always something different.  What I love is that he has a huge desire to work and baptize so that's super fun.

ANSWERS TO PRAYERS
Familia Jurican went to church, all of them.  The husband Hermano Sergio went to church this week and liked it a lot. They accepted to get married and baptized the 9th of July!!!!  They are super pumped and it's super awesome to see the changes in people's countenances and in their eyes.  We also have a sister that is going to get baptized this Saturday that is from the familia Godinez that I asked that you guys to pray for.  So a lot of miracles here.  Elder Brown was a little bummed cuz he won't be here for their baptisms cuz we had been working with these families for a while now, but he's happy they are making this decision.

KEEP PRAYING
We need to find some more people and keep working hard.  But if you guys can keep praying for the familia Godinez, Familia Jurican, ____ Roma, and that me and Elder Griffin can find families and future missionaries to teach.

Hope y'all doing super well.

RAIN, SUPER COOL, TOGETHER FOREVER, PHOTOS

RAIN
It's been raining a bunch here but it's not super cold, at least

SUPER COOL
It's going well.  We found a man that is super awesome.  He works on the busses here and told us, "You guys can tell me stuff, then I'll share it with others."  It's like a chain, hahaha.  Perfect missionary, haha.  He said he will go to church this week with his wife and kid.  His kid has been going to church with the Familia Jurican but we didn't know who were his parents until Elder Brown contacted a young family in the street, so that was super cool.

TOGETHER FOREVER
We also went to the sealing of a family the Elder Brown baptized.  Super special experience and def could feel the spirit.  Not going to lie.  My eyes watered a little cuz you just look at the family and realize that they now can be together forever and that has really strengthened my testimony on the chance we all have to do this ordination and be together forever with our families.

Hope everyone is great!!

June 14, 2017---CHANGES, NO EXCUSES, STAY FOCUSED AND GO HARD, JOY IN SERVING, SEARCH FOR GOD

June 14, 2017

CHANGES
Me and Elder Brown are staying together  for another change for right now.

NO EXCUSES
It's going well.  We were swamped with meetings and visiting with others missionaries in the zone so we weren't able to visit everyone as much as we wanted but we can't make excuses, just got to do it.

STAY FOCUSED AND GO HARD
We have some people that can get baptized in these weeks that come so we just got to stay focused and go hard. Hermana Jurican is awesome and is basically a member just needs to get baptized and her son also. But they need to get married and Hermano Jurican works a ton and gets told a lot of false stuff about the church so we are trying to help him out, too, so he can receive an answer like the rest of his family.

JOY IN SERVING
I'm really loving the mission.  I had a dream that I was at home, 1st time.  I was hecka sad cuz it was August, but it's cuz they, ha, mixed up my papers so I went home a month early and I was like nooooo!!!  I felt hecka sad!   Hahaha, super weird, man.  I want to go home but I also want to stay here in Guatemala.  It's a super weird feeling, man, but I really find joy serving people and seeing them make changes in their lives to be more happy and blessed.

SEARCH FOR GOD
When we search for God, he gives us more and more blessings but we also see more difficulties cuz Satan doesn't want us to be happy and blessed.  We just got to give him a good old 1-2 to the face, haha.

LITTLE BY LITTLE, CHANGES, I JUST HAVE TO DO MY PART, SUPER HAPPY

LITTLE BY LITTLE
This week has been pretty good.  We have been working and looking for new
people and helping the Zone out.  The familia Jurican are good.  Their kids have brought some friends to church, so little by little, I think we will get more investigators from them.

CHANGES
We have changes this next week so we will see what happens.

I JUST HAVE TO DO MY PART
We had an apostle come and talk to us yesterday, Elder Dale G. Renlund.  It was a pretty cool experience.  What I loved, was that he gave an apostolic promise to us.  He gave a bunch, but what I loved is he said everything in our homes would be okay, miraculously.  So that really pumped me up to keep on going.  I really felt a lot of peace in my heart, cuz I can't even explain how much love I have for my family, AKA,  all you guys, ha.  I just have to do my part.
